The drop box is located on the right wall just outside of the main entrance to the municipal building. The Tax Collectors’ Office now has 24 hour access to drop off tax payments. It is now possible to drop off your tax payment 24/7/365 when:
Your work schedule prevents you from coming to our office during normal business hours.
The weekends are more convenient for you to drop off your tax payment.
It’s getting close to the end of the grace period and you’re not sure if you mail your payment it will be received in time to avoid interest.
It’s simply more convenient during normal business hours to use the drop box.
Drop Box Guidelines
Any payments received during normal business hours (8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday) will be considered as received that business day. Any payments received after normal business hours will be credited to the next business day. For late payments, interest will be calculated to the business day the payment is credited to.
Please remember that cash payments are not permitted in the drop box, and the box is for Tax Payments only. If you have any questions, please contact the Collectors’ office at 732-928-1200, ext. 1174.
During the Municipal Building closure to the public, if you would like a receipt for your drop box payment, please note it on your envelope and one will be mailed out.
