Step One

Jackson Township Commission for the Disabled/Handicapped is looking for volunteers to assist challenged youth and young adults. No experience necessary....only a desire to make a difference in someone’s life! Enhance your college application! Have fun! Be rewarded with smiles! Buddy must commit to most of the scheduled practices. Each buddy will receive a letter on completion of service. The sports we offer are Basketball, Softball and Soccer. Our Buddy program is open to teens starting at 13 years old.
Soccer is offered in the fall, starting in September and runs 6 weeks.
Times are from 9 - 11am and practices are held at our local Township All Purpose field.
Basketball is offered in the winter, starting in January for 6 weeks. Times are from 9-10:30am and is located at a local elementary school gym.
Softball is offered in the spring, starting in April and runs 6 weeks. Times are 10am - 12pm and practices are held at our local Township Softball field.
