The Township of Jackson in conjunction with Baron Builders hereby announces that one four-bedroom affordable housing unit is for-sale at Block 19703, Lot 28.05 known as 83 Grand Blvd in the township. Said unit is available to families of six (6) or larger. The four (4) bedroom unit will be affordable to a six (6) person household. This affordable housing unit is being administered by the Township's Housing Administrative Agent, Rehabco, Inc. Applications will be available beginning, June 1, 2021, and through August 31, 2021. The price of the unit is for-sale at $383,000. The housing is under development by Baron Builders and is for eligible low and moderate-income households.
Residents and workers of Ocean, Monmouth and Mercer Counties will be selected before residents and workers of other New Jersey counties or other states. The unit will be subject to a public lottery. In accordance with New Jersey Department of Community Affairs rules, only appropriately sized families will be placed in available units.
In order to qualify, the 6 member-family (or larger) must have a combined family income within the range of $100,663 and $126,720.
Applicants will be required to show proof of residency and/or employment as well as all required household income documentation in order to qualify. All successful applicants will be required to maintain the unit as the family's primary residence.
