Provide Engineering services for municipal operations and capital improvement work
The Engineering Department maintains and preserves map, charts, records of roads, utilities, public buildings and structures of all public facilities owned or operated by the Municipality. The Engineering Department prepares specifications for all Capital
Improvement project, Public Works contracts, supervises and inspects the execution of such contracts to certify satisfactory completion of work
Prepares short and long range planning for Township Road improvement and maintenance programs
Coordinates with and represents the Township in all matters involving the County Engineering Department and County road improvements
Performs field and office tasks involved with capital and maintenance project construction, inspection and operations, including making routine inspections, field visits to determine progress of work conditions, construction problems resolution and productivity review
Interfaces with property owners, address complaints involving drainage, grading, streets, or any other Township facility issues
