NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by Veronica Dingle, RPPO, QPA, Purchasing Agent, or designated representative, for the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey on July 10, 2018 at 10:15am prevailing time, in the Main Meeting Room, Township of Jackson Municipal Complex, 95 W. Veterans Highway, Jackson NJ 08527 then publicly opened and read aloud for the following:

IMPROVEMENTS TO NEW CENTRAL AVE

Specifications and Proposal packages are on file at the Jackson Township Purchasing Department, 95 W. Veterans Hwy. Jackson NJ 08527 and may be obtained during regular business hours, 8:30am to 4:30 pm., Monday through Friday, until 48 hours prior to the time set for the opening of bids upon payment of $25.00 per set. No refunds will be made.

Proposals shall be submitted on the forms provided in the manner designated and required in the specifications, enclosed in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Township Clerk, Attn: Purchasing Agent, Township of Jackson, 95 W. Veterans Hwy., Jackson, NJ 08527 and plainly marked on the outside with the name and address of the bidder and the purpose for which the bid is being submitted.

The Township reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities specified in the manner designated in the specifications. The Township reserves the right to award this contract based on funds available.

The successful bidder shall be required to comply with the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Chapter 150 of the Laws of 1963, effective January 1, 1964.

All bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (Business Registration), N. J. S. A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. (Contract Compliance and Equal Employment Opportunities in Public Contracts). Submissions by corporations and partnerships shall include a completed Disclosure of Ownership form (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2). Submissions shall also include a completed Non-Collusion Affidavit.

No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a surety company bond in the full amount of the contract price indemnifying the Township of Jackson, New Jersey for all the proceedings, suits or actions of any kind of description and conditional for the faithful performance of the work.

The Township Committee of the Township of Jackson reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids if in its opinion it is in the best interest of the Township to do so.
